Weekly Review #12 - #13

This week I have continued to finish my final piece, which is mostly finished but I still need to add the wood glue, clear glue and add some more experimental stitching onto the face of the newborn. I also need to finish painting the bottom of the canvas, where it was bigger than my calico. During this week off I have been working really hard to create and finish all nine of my embroidery hoops, I have been tea staining my fabric and working back into it using watercolours which has worked out really well. I have been using wadding to make my work look more realistic and to add texture to the hand stitched ailments. At the end of this week I want to have all of my final pieces finished including my canvas and nine embroidery hoops. I will be putting up my work in the exhibition on Wednesday 6th of June 2018 and so my work has to be finished before I arrive. Once I have put up my final pieces I will be working and improving my sketchbook and finishing off any of my timesheets.
